Terms and Conditions
Guðmundsson & Co. — effective 13.08.2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all purchases made through the website Gudmundssonco.is
(the "Gudmundsson&Co"), operated by 510ehf, a company registered in Iceland under
kennitala [590126-2330], with registered address at [Kórsalir] ("Guðmundsson & Co.", "we", "us"). By
placing an order on the Site, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Products
Guðmundsson & Co. produces limited-edition watches, each released in a strictly limited run of 50 pieces
per model. Once a model sells out, it will not be restocked or reproduced. Product images are for illustration; due to the handcrafted and photographic nature of the material finishes, minor variations between the image and the delivered item may occur and do not constitute a defect. Each watch is described on its product page with its specification (movement, case material, crystal, water resistance). We make reasonable efforts to ensure this information is accurate and current.
2. Orders and Payment
All prices on the Site are displayed in [CURRENCY, e.g. ISK] and, unless stated otherwise, include applicable Icelandic VAT. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store your full card details; these are handled directly by Shopify's payment processor in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. An order is only accepted once you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to

decline or cancel an order — for example in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or where a limited- edition piece has sold out before your payment was processed — in which case you will receive a full refund.
3. Delivery
We currently ship to addresses within Iceland only. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout or in your order confirmation; these are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided.
4. Right of Withdrawal (Return Policy)
As a consumer purchasing at a distance, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item, in accordance with the Icelandic Act on Consumer Rights for Distance and Off-
Premises Contracts (Lög um neytendasamninga nr. 16/2016), implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

To exercise this right, notify us in writing at [Gudmundssonco@gmail.com] within the 14-day period. The item must be returned unworn, undamaged, with all original packaging, papers, and accessories intact. We
recommend using a tracked shipping method, as you bear the risk of loss until the item reaches us. Given the high value and limited-edition nature of our pieces, we will inspect returned items on arrival. We may make a deduction from the refund if the value of the item has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and function. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, or of you providing evidence of return shipment,
whichever is earlier.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that have been personalized or engraved to your specification, in accordance with statutory exceptions for bespoke goods.
5. Warranty
Each watch is covered by a manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects for [WARRANTY PERIOD, e.g. 2 years] from the date of delivery. This warranty covers the movement and case construction under normal use; it does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized repair, water damage exceeding the stated rating, or normal wear (e.g. strap, crystal scratches). This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under Icelandic law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the Guðmundsson & Co. name, logo, product photography, and written copy — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content commercially without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guðmundsson & Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Icelandic consumer protection law, including liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or defective products under applicable product liability legislation.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order will govern that order. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "effective" date at the top of this page.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any dispute shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Reykjavík (Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your place of residence. Consumers may also refer disputes to the Icelandic Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa) or, for online purchases, the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
